Best for: Serious foodies
Thea is clearly a regular, because the staff knew her well enough to bring a round of complimentary prosecco for us to start our brunch off right(!). Why haven’t I been here before?? I managed to build up quite an impressive selection of beverages actually, with a coffee, water, prosecco and a fresh smoothie all prepping my stomach for some delicious food.
The menu is limited, but that’s due to the fact that a) they are seasonal and b) they grow a lot of their ingredients on their rooftop. Fair. That being said, we ordered as much as we could with what we were given.
The order:
- 2 x Fried duck egg, crispy pig cheeks, nduja, borlotti beans & San Marzano tomatoes
- Scrambled Tilley’s Farm eggs, smoked potatoes & sorrel
- Scrambled Tilley’s Farm eggs, new season mushrooms & toasted sourdough
- Wilted spinach & sea vegetables
- 2 x Americano
- 1 x Latte
- Round of prosecco
- Smoothie I definitely can’t remember the name of
- Round of cocktails
To try next time:
- Whatever they have on the menu ;)
