Best for: The best ooze you will ever see from a poach
We were given the menus once seated and then the struggle arose. So many great options!!! This was made all the more difficult by seeing others around us being served up some incredible looking dishes. The guessing games of what others had chosen along with the enticing descriptions on the menu had us perplexed on which dish to choose! But once the waitress came along, we made our choices…
- Crispy confit duck, served with sweet potato hash, baby spinach spring onion and a poached egg
- Ozdemir Pasha, fried eggs served with grilled halloumi, butter bean hummus, sumac and fresh tomato with sourdough bred.
- Cappuccino
We were ridiculously excited by the time our food came, having seen other plates being served up around us. One lady close by had the French toast that looked incredible! However when our plates did arrive we were sure we had made the right choice! The duck, soft in parts and crispy in others, tasted astonishingly good when mixed with the sweet potato and egg. One of the best brunches ever! My Mum thoroughly enjoyed her brunch and I even had to help her, as the plate was so full! A really great brunch spot for the real foodies amongst you!
To try next time:
- Bubble ‘N’ squeak
- The Gatherer
- French toast
